one more thing.

im so tired of brett favre. he was classy for years, but now he's just an attention-junkie who is no longer a good, let alone great, quarterback. he held the packers hostage for months, not announcing whether or not he'd come back for the upcoming season. so now he says he is coming back to play. big effing deal. throw this year in with mj's tenure with the wizards, magic johnson's 'comeback,' etc. ie, when all is said and done, we're all gonna have to act like this never happened, b/c it's gonna be an embarassment.

sandy koufax, jim brown; these men hung it up at the crest of their primes. good for them. im not saying every great athelete has to quit at the top of their game, but it would be nice if they said goodbye before hitting absolute rock-bottom.
